By creating integrations between Plant's climate calculation tool and the Construction Products Assessment Logbook tool, information can be shared and refined.
- We are excited about the strong partnership with Byggvarubedömningen. A common denominator is that we both collect data on materials and quantities. Plant retrieves the data from the building's BIM model. Now that the two systems are integrated, we can extend the verification and compare the data we have to make sure it is correct. At Plant, we always put the data quality of our climate calculations first, says Pelle Tunell, CEO of Plant.
Hannes Morger, CEO of Byggvarubedömningen, says the collaboration will make it easier for construction and real estate companies to make wise and sustainable choices.
- For our member companies and customers, the ability to create a Logbook from a BIM model and use our Logbook tool to see not only the environmental assessments but also the climate footprint of the products. Sharing information between systems creates added value for customers and opens up for more collaborations in the future, says Hannes Morger, CEO of Byggvarubedömningen.
The ambition is to have a first integration ready later this year, during quarter 3.
The collaboration is part of the effort to make the industry more digital, avoid double reporting and additional work. By building smart solutions between the two systems, it is possible to increase the degree of automation and thus reduce costs for construction and real estate companies.
