Hemsö and Plant sign framework agreement for climate calculations

The framework agreement means that Plant can deliver climate calculations for all of Hemsö's renovation and new construction projects during the feasibility study, building permit document and relationship document. Using one software for all projects and all stages gives Hemsö new opportunities to reduce its climate impact.

- The advantage of calculating the climate in several different construction phases is that you get more decision support and completely new opportunities to control and reduce the climate impact of the buildings. It is easy for Plant to make many calculations thanks to our software's high level of automation, says Pelle Tunell, CEO of Plant.

Hemsö has been using Plant to reduce the climate impact of building materials since May 2019. Since then, Plant has performed many climate calculations at all stages for Hemsö.

- We have had a long relationship with Plant and are very positive about our collaboration and Plant's development. We feel confident with the results that Plant's software shows and the competence at Plant. The company has extensive experience in complex climate calculations. We have not met anyone on the market who is as good at climate calculations as Plant," says Emma Weman, Sustainability Manager at Hemsö.

All Plants calculations are performed using the same methodology and with a high degree of automation. This makes the results comparable.
- Now that Hemsö chooses our software for all projects, the results are comparable. This increases the possibilities for Hemsö to learn from different projects and to further reduce emissions," says Pelle Tunell.
