Construction and real estate companies currently account for 20% of Sweden's climate impact. The management of the greenhouse effect is a crucial factor, which must be integrated into daily operations - and this applies not least in the construction and real estate industry.
- In addition to the environmental assessments, being able to see the total climate footprint of the products in a Logbook is requested by our customers. The integration with Plant simplifies and streamlines the work of producing an accurate climate calculation, not least by reducing manual handling, says Hannes Morger, CEO of Byggvarubedömningen.
The integration is made possible through an API, where information between Plant's climate calculation tools and Byggvarubedömningen's Logbook tool is shared and refined. The integration has been well received by the test groups and is now ready to be launched to more users.
- We are pleased with the strong partnership that has now been initiated with Byggvarubedömningen. A common denominator is that we both collect data on materials and quantities. Plant often retrieves data from building BIM models. By integrating the two systems, we can reduce duplication and simplify the work for projects to produce their climate declaration. At Plant, we always put the data quality of our climate calculations first, says Pelle Tunell, CEO of Plant.
To use the climate calculation function, you need an account with Byggvarubedömningen and to be a customer of Plant. At the customer's request, an activation code is then generated, which in the next step integrates the selected Logbook with Plant.
