PE Teknik & Arkitektur chooses the newly launched version of Concept

PE Teknik & Arkitektur chooses Plant for climate calculations at all stages

The engineering consultancy PE Teknik & Arkitektur has chosen Plant’s software for climate calculations—from the very earliest stages through to the final climate declaration. With Plant, the company gains new opportunities to address climate issues in a traceable, efficient, and proactive manner throughout all project phases.

“We want to be at the forefront—that’s why we chose Plant”‍

“We want to be able to work proactively and put our sustainability goals into practice right from the start. Plant gives us exactly that. We want to be at the forefront, which is why we chose Plant,” says Catrin Heincke, Head of the Energy & Environment Division at PE Teknik & Arkitektur.

Plant’s software has been helping construction and real estate companies with climate calculations since 2017. Pelle Tunell, CEO and co-founder of Plant, is pleased to see engineering consultants joining the platform as well:

“When all stakeholders can work in the same tool—regardless of their role and whether they are a real estate company, contractor, or consultant—it creates an entirely new level of collaboration. Calculations become comparable, analyses become more precise, and sustainability efforts become an integral part of the entire decision-making process,” says Pelle Tunell.

Clarity and transparency in climate data

One of the key reasons PE Teknik & Arkitektur chose Plant is transparency. The system immediately shows where any errors occur when a model is loaded, making it easier to work in a traceable manner and avoid mistakes.
– With Plant, we can see where the errors are, which is crucial for us. It creates a more educational and learning-oriented way of working. We can understand the model, see where building components are located, and learn at the same time,” says Catrin.

Full life cycle and Net-Zero CO₂ – key features‍

PE Teknik & Arkitektur is actively involved in projects that are to be certified under the NollCO₂ standard and therefore relies on being able to perform full life-cycle assessments—covering the A, B, and C phases.
– “The fact that Plant offers full life-cycle assessments is absolutely crucial for us. It enables us to meet our clients’ requirements,” says Catrin.

Concept makes climate calculations available at an early stage‍

With the license for Plant’s Concept tool, PE Teknik & Arkitektur can now support its clients right from the earliest stages of a project.
– “We want to be an active partner early on in projects. That’s when we can have the greatest impact. Concept makes it easy and convenient to explore different solutions and build an understanding of climate impact even before construction begins,” Catrin continues.
