The construction and real estate sector accounts for more than a fifth of Sweden's climate impact and almost 40% of global carbon dioxide emissions. Plant and Myrspoven are both established in the Swedish market and are now aiming for expansion in Europe. Both companies have developed solutions to reduce emissions from the industry through modern software.
- Plant is ready to scale up. We have grown rapidly in Sweden and today 50% of Sweden's largest real estate companies choose Plant for climate calculations. The experience from all construction projects has increased our knowledge and sharpened the software. To be recognized in Europe together with the PropTech pioneer Myrspoven feels obviously fun in this situation, says Pelle Tunell, CEO Plant.
- Real estate companies face huge challenges and need to drastically reduce their climate impact. After working mainly with Swedish property owners, we are now actively going out into Europe to achieve our vision of reducing the CO2 footprint of buildings by 1% globally. More PropTech solutions than ours are needed if we are to succeed together and therefore it is fun when other Swedish companies are recognized. We wish Plant good luck in Brussels, says Anders Kallebo, CEO of Myrspoven.
On September 19 and 20, Plant and Myrspoven will pitch their solutions live to the international jury in Brussels. On September 20, the winner will be announced at the PropTech Startup & Scaleup Europe Awards Ceremony. A total of four PropTech companies from Sweden have advanced in the competition. Nornorm and Hydda are the two other companies.
