The market's most powerful climate calculation tool

Plant launches: A complete software for climate calculations at all stages

The entire building sector can now take full control of its climate impact - from concept to finished building and everything in between. Plant's new version of Concept makes sustainability work a natural part of everyday life and creates a new level of collaboration between all actors in the construction process.

Plant founders Pelle Tunell and John Sjulander
- I am proud to say that we now have a world-leading software for climate calculations," says Pelle Tunell, CEO and co-founder of Plant.

Eight years ago, the Tierp brothers launched their first climate calculation software for the construction industry. Since then, the software has been constantly developed based on the needs of the growing customer base. All developments have resulted in this updated version of Concept, which was rolled out to customers this fall.

Five unique reasons to choose Concept

  1. Make sustainable decisions throughout the process from feasibility study to finished building.
  2. Seamlessly transfer results between project phases.
  3. Compare sketches, materials, building systems and scenarios and make informed decisions at the touch of a button.
  4. Analyze climate data directly from 3D model and cost estimates and switch seamlessly between them.
  5. Invite different stakeholders - clients, sustainability specialists, contractors, consultants or architects - and increase collaboration. The tool does not require expert knowledge or advanced training.
- Concept creates a whole new level of collaboration and makes sustainability work a natural part of everyday life for the entire community building sector, says John Sjulander, co-founder of Plant.

In addition to the basic functions, Concept offers a number of add-on modules to meet common needs. Customers can:

  • easily create climate declarations with verified quantities,
  • calculate the whole life cycle, from A to D stage,
  • certify projects according to Miljöbyggnad, Svanen, NollCO₂ and BREEAM,
  • calculate circularity and compare the impact of reuse, new construction and conservation.
- For groups, it also means an opportunity to gather all calculations in one place, which provides comparability, full overview and the opportunity to focus climate optimization on the right things, Pelle concludes.
